Upcoming Closures for the Town Clerk's Office:

Thursday July 23: Closed for lunch from 12:15-1:00 due to staffing.

August 10th-14th: Closed due to training. Online Renewals will still be processed.

If you have a New or Transfer registration to complete that cannot wait until the Weare Town clerk reopens on August 17th, these transactions ONLY may be processed at the Henniker Town Clerk. This is for emergency situations where a temporary plate will expire during this week.

The Henniker Town Clerk's office is located at 18 Depot Hill Rd #2, 603-428-3240. The office hours are: Monday 8-4, Tuesday 10-6, Wednesday 8-4, Friday 8-4. They are closed Thursday.

Before beginning the transaction, inform the clerk that you are a Weare resident. Renewals must be done in Weare when the office is open, or online. 

The office of Town Clerk is the keeper of all vital records, various documents, and minutes of all committees and boards. These records are kept accurately and efficiently such that the best interests of the citizens and the Town of Weare are served.

The office of Town Clerk also administers and conducts elections in accordance with state and local laws.

The office of Town Clerk is responsible for the issuance of the following: dog licenses, motor vehicle and boat registrations, vital records, voter registration, and absentee ballots. For online services click on the icons.
